Day 1. Eldoret
Depart Nairobi by road after breakfast at your hotel. Descend on the Great Rift Valley escarpment to its floor with its picturesque landscape. Stop briefly in Nakuru before ascending the western escarpment of the rift valley to arrive at the expansive farmlands of Eldoret in time for lunch at your hotel. Proceed after lunch for the high altitude training centre in Iten Township. Check-in and get a briefing and orientation from your coach. All meals and overnight at the high altitude training centre.
The rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 2. High Altitude Training Centre
There will be pre-dawn training session before breakfast. In the mid-morning visit a local school to relate with the locals before returning to the facility for lunch. Your coach will give another lecture on professional athletics to be followed by the last training for the day.All meals and overnight at the high altitude training centre.
Day 3. High Altitude Training Centre
There will be pre-dawn training session before breakfast. In the mid-morning, your coach will give another lecture on professional athletics. In the afternoon there will be more rigorous training, by now you more tactful in your strides. You need to have a restful night tonight as tomorrow will be competition day.All meals and overnight at the high altitude training centre.
Day 4. High Altitude Training Centre
There will be pre-dawn training session before breakfast. After breakfast, team groups will compete for a prize. In the evening a farewell dinner that will be a formal celebrations of success with presentations by the facility manager, your coach and your safari director.

Day 5. Nairobi.
Depart after breakfast by road for Nairobi to arrive in time for a late afternoon lunch.
Check in and spent the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Eka Hotel or similar.
Day 6. Samburu Game Reserve.
Depart very early in the morning and head north through the highlands of the Kikuyu peoples’ farmlands with abundant acres of coffee and commercial farm pineapples near Thika. Beyond the foothills of Mt Kenya, descend to the semi-arid vast open scrub country of the Samburu people punctuated by rolling hills in time for lunch at the lodge. Day 7. Samburu Game Reserve.
Enjoy full day adventurous game viewing drives with an option of a visit to the
Samburu cultural village. Samburu game reserve is famous for its unique and rare fauna that includes ‘the special Samburu 5’ (Grevy’s zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Gerenuk and Vulturine guinea fowl) and the colourful Samburu community.All meals and overnight at Sarova Shaba Tented Camp or similar.
Day 8. Ol Pejeta Game Sanctuary.
Have an early morning game viewing drive. Depart after breakfast on a leisurely drive to the slopes of Mt Kenya to arrive in time for lunch at Serena Sweetwaters Tented camp located in a private sanctuary. After lunch, explore this sanctuary known for both the black and white rhino population; visit the Jane Goodall chimpanzee enclosure during their feeding time at 3 o’clock. The conservancy also boasts of several wild game like elephants, zebra, gazelles, Jackson’s hartebeest, buffalo, reticulated giraffe, warthog and cats represented by the lion, leopard and the cheetah.All meals and overnight at Serena Sweetwater’s tented camp. Optional early morning game viewing drive. Depart after breakfast for Nairobi to arrive early afternoon. Meals and accommodation on own.
