Day 1. Arrival.
You will be met at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International airport by our safari representative. Transfer to a city hotel for overnight.Bed and Breakfast at the Eka Hotel(or similar) in Nairobi.
Day 2. High Altitude Training Centre
Depart after breakfast descending the Great Rift Valley escarpment to its floor with its picturesque landscape. Stop briefly in Nakuru before ascending the western escarpment of the rift valley to arrive at the expansive farmlands of Eldoret for lunch. After lunch, proceed to the High Altitude Training Centre, Iten.All meals and overnight at the High Altitude Training centre.
Day 3. High Altitude Training Centre
Depart after breakfast for the high altitude training centre in Iten. Check-in and get a briefing and orientation from your coach. In the afternoon, you will train with resident trainees and local participating athletes.All meals and overnight at the high altitude training centre.
Day 4. High Altitude Training Centre
There will be pre-dawn training session before breakfast. In the mid-morning visit a local school to relate with the locals before returning to the facility for lunch. Your coach will give another lecture on professional athletics to be followed by the last training for the day.All meals and overnight at the high altitude training centre.
Day 5. High Altitude Training Centre
There will be pre-dawn training session before breakfast. In the mid morning your coach will give another lecture on professional athletics. In the afternoon there will be more rigorous training, by now you more tactful in your strides. You need to have a restful night tonight as tomorrow will be competition day.All meals and overnight at the high altitude training centre.
Day 6. High Altitude Training Centre
There will be pre-dawn training session before breakfast. After breakfast team groups will compete for a prize. In the evening a farewell dinner that will be a formal celebrations of success with presentations by the facility manager, your coach and your safari director.

Day 7. Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
Depart after breakfast driving to the highlands of Kericho. Visit a tea farm and black tea factory with a booking. Kericho produces over 70% of all tea produced in Kenya having expansive multi-national farms and the outlying small hold farms owned by the local small scale farmers. Lunch at a Kericho hotel before proceeding to the Mara. Arrive at your lodge with a game drive. Rest of the evening have a restful and leisurely have a drink over bonfire.Dinner and overnight at Ol Moran Tented Camp or similar.
Day 8. Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Maasai Mara is the 8th wonder of the world as a result of the wildebeest migration; being the pathway of this annual event from mid July to the end of october when over 2 million herbivores escorted by carnivores cross north from the Serengeti in Tanzania. This mara has been highlighted through various media including ‘National Geographic’, ‘big-cat diary’ among many and more recently by American ABC news ‘good morning America show’.Dinner and overnight at Ol Moran Tented Camp or similar
Day 9. Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
Enjoy an adventurous full day in the mara in search of the famed ‘big-five’; black rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant with 2 game game viewing drives. Alternatively, you can choose to do a full day game viewing drive with picnic lunch and evening at leisure. Today is also providing you with an opportunity to do hot air balloon and/or visit the Maasai cultural village.Dinner and overnight at Ol Moran Tented Camp or similar
Day 10. Departure.Depart by road after breakfast for Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch at a city restaurant. Day rooms have been reserved for your use until 6pm.
